A Byootaful Life is my personal blog. The thoughts and opinions expressed within my blog are mine and mine alone. After a sudden increase in emails asking me to pimp things, I decided I needed to create a clear Disclaimer Page so that, instead of replying to each enquiry, I could simply save us all a lot of time and send a link. You may use sections of my posts if there is a clear link-back to my blog and I am given credit. You may use my photos, with permission, but you must save and upload them to your own server. You must also include a clear link-back to my blog and give me credit for the photo. Hotlinked photos will be changed to something very unpleasant and the hotlinker will be reported to the appropriate blogging platforms and/or website hosting companies.

Advertising

A Byootaful Life is an ad-free blog. This means I do not accept any sort of advertising on my blog, paid or otherwise. I do not link to company websites or blogs (and I am the one who decides whether a blog is a company blog or personal blog). I do not review products and/or websites, so please stop emailing me requests. If I do, at some point, post a review of a product, it is at my own discretion and my readers can be assured that I did not recieve any financial or material benefits for writing the post. There’s too much advertising already in life!

Blog Awards/Memes

I’m not against awards and/or memes, but they generally take the back-burner for me, so if you have given me an award or tagged me for a meme and I haven’t posted about it yet, don’t take it to heart. I’ll usually get around to it. In turn, I don’t link other people for awards and/or memes. If you read a meme or see an award on my site, feel free to take it and run with it. Let me know in the comments so I can acknowledge that you have done so in the post. It is always nice to have feedback on my blog and receiving an award always puts a smile on my dial.

Blog Roll

A Byootaful Life has a big blog roll and each blog is a currently active one that I read regularly. I think it is important that a blog roll reflects the blog author’s favourites. This means that blogs on my blog roll will regularly be removed and added. If your blog has been removed, it’s probably because you stopped posting. I do not “swap links” for the reasons already stated – I don’t link to blogs just for the heck of it.

Privacy

Phill and Puddy don’t get any privacy, but the rest of you do. If you are mentioned on my blog, either directly or indirectly, and you wish it to be removed, please email me. I promise to review the post. I do not promise to remove it. As I don’t post to intentionally harm or embarrass people, this is a highly unlikely situation.

Comments

I love comments, it’s really lovely to know you took the time to leave me a little something. Having said that, flaming comments will be deleted. Moderation is enabled – once you have had one comment approved you will generally be able to post subsequent comments and have them immediately appear. If your comment doesn’t appear, one  or more of the words in it may have been picked up by ever-faithful Akismet, and I promise to rescue it from the moderation bin as soon as I can. I welcome comments with opinions which differ from mine, as long as the comment is not a flame. Spam will be deleted immediately – thanks to Akismet I rarely even see spam comments, so don’t bother leaving them.
