New Look!
This post marks the first post on my brand spankin’ new blog layout – it’s goodbye to Notepad Chaos and hello to Artwork, a gorgeous theme that has been sitting in my Themes folder for quite some time, just waiting to go live. If you’re reading this on your feed reader, pop by and have a look!
I wanted a fresh start for our trip and seeing as we only have one week (!!) before we’re boarding a plane to America, now is as good a time as any. I can’t believe there is only one week – I am so excited! We’re flying into LA and staying there for about a week before heading to Seattle, then onto Vancouver. Just typing that makes my heart flutter with anticipation!
We’ve still got heaps to do – packing, storing, organising – but we’re getting there.

I like it! It’s chipper and bright and ready for your fresh new start.
I will be in Vancouver in mid November – maybe you can give me some tips on how to spend our five days there, once you’ve got the lay of the land!

Aly – Sounds like a good idea! I’ll definitely look out for some hot spots – I can’t believe that in mid November we will have already been there for a month – can’t wait!

Kind of a late question, but do you have contacts- friends, relatives, … – there in Canada/Vancouver?
I can hardly imagine what it would feel like to have 1 week before I moved to Australia for 2 years!!!

Rabbits’ Guy – Haha I know, it’s crazy right? We’re actually travelling over with about eight other friends (some of which have done this before), plus I already know a few people over there doing the same working holiday, so we’ll have a few contacts. It’s still scary exciting though!
