Employed!
Today I was offered a job, starting Monday. It’s only a temporary job through a recruitment firm, but it’s a foot in the door and money in my bank account, so I am happy. It’s nice knowing there’s money coming in to your bank account, not just going out.
That was my main worry about doing a working holiday – what if I couldn’t find a job? But I guess I don’t have to worry about that anymore because I AM EMPLOYED!

Aly – Thanks! I’m not sure how long this job will last, being temporary, but I’m looking forward to having a bit of an income. It’s also a nice feeling to know it’s possible to get a job here, being a foreigner! hehe
Rabbits’ Guy – I had to google LaBatts Blues! lol Don’t worry, my money is going on rent, food and other essential things like clothes and shoes.

YAY! Congratulations! That’ll be a relief for you for awhile. I have to say, that’s one of the things I fear too about a working holiday (mines awhile of yet, but still!) Well done

Chantel – It is a HUGE relief, but now I’m so exhausted from working again after so long! It’s hard having to get up to an alarm (haha) but I’m getting better, and I’m enjoying the work. There will be a post coming but right now dinner is ready, so it’s gonna have to wait!
