Meet Gismo and Fluffy!

No, we didn’t get more cats! Gismo (grey and white) and Fluffy (orange and white) belong to our friend who held the Halloween party Phill and I attended this year and these photos are actually from that night (I know, I totally forgot about them!). There were heaps of people at the party and a lot of noise and music, so I asked her where her cats were for the night and she told me they were locked in her room. I asked if I could visit them and say hello.
As soon as I squeezed through the tiny crack in the door so they wouldn’t get out, I was greeted with head-bumps like I’d never experienced before. It was like they were seagulls and I was a chip – they pushed each other to get to my outstretched hand and kept turning around and around to come back again and again for more bumps and pats. They pushed their heads into my hands with such force that my hand was pushed down time and time again – it was like a head-bumping frenzy!

Then, almost as suddenly as it began, they stopped the frenzy and curled up on the bed, obviously now used to my prescence and no longer excited.
Cats are such strange creatures!
They had such beautiful long fur with interesting colours and markings – and fluffy, bushy tails! Puddy is very streamlined and only gets fluffy when she gets scared and “boofs up”, as I like to say. I guess she might shed less than Gismo and Fluffy, which is a good thing!
In typical cat fashion, Fluffy curled up on my witch’s hat…

…while Gismo went for a more laid-back pose (see the bushy tail and laser eyes?)

I think the cats enjoyed the attention, because they must have been bored in there. Although … they did have everything they needed in the bedroom and ensuite, plus each other, so maybe they were having their own Halloween party in there?
Makes me want to get another cat to be Puddy’s friend … but I’m just too scared Puddy will try to eat it!

These two sounds extremely nice and they are beautiful! Mom has a soft spot in her heart for those bushy tails. The other day mom met a very handsome grey tabby who got very excited over her attention and headbumped her like mad too. Then he got too excited and bit her in the arm! Hahahaha! Mom was so impressed.

Rabbit owners let a single rabbit pick out there own pal … that way no one gets eaten.

OH, your friends kitties are just very cute! I am glad you went in to visit them

Cat with a Garden – Oh no, no bitey, even if it’s excited bitey – that still hurts! I bet your Mum made his day though – cats do love attention!
Rabbits’ Guy – That’s a good idea! When we do get another pet, we’re going to adopt from a shelter so I’m not sure if I can take Puddy to meet it .. .I guess we’ll cross that bridge when we get there!
Kitikata-san – I’m glad too – it put a smile on my face and it was a nice break from all the Halloween stuff going on outside!
