Several years ago John Madden, who is MR FOOTBALL (AMERICAN) on TV talked about Turducken for our Thanksgiving celebrations and it immediatly became the food du jour for several seasons. When we ate it - a friend won one in some raffle and had a dinner party with it - it was good but every single one of us said it would not have been worth the effort!!! Several years ago John Madden, who is MR FOOTBALL (AMERICAN) on TV talked about Turducken for our Thanksgiving celebrations and it immediatly became the food du jour for several seasons.

When we ate it – a friend won one in some raffle and had a dinner party with it – it was good but every single one of us said it would not have been worth the effort!!! But – it WAS a lifetime experience to eat some and to see it!!

So Christmas lunch will be at my in-law's for KFC chicken and salad (sounds classy, I know!) and then dinner will be at my parents place with all the trimmings, ham, chicken, roast beef, vegies and salad. Massive! Also, since it's our first Christmas out of home, we're having a bbq on Christmas Eve. I get out of cooking altogether - Matt runs the barbie! (Happy birthday for tomorrow too, almost-birthday-twin! xx) Christmas Day is always my mum’s – although the past couple of years she’s had to share with Matt’s family!
