As for the remote, you should see what happens when someone brings home a second one as a 'spare'. I live with two channel surfers - my mum played a trick on my dad by not telling him about the second remote and then randomly changing channels! We lose our remotes all the time and I am considering sticking a bit of string to it and tying it to the sifa! Everyone gets a clumsy day once in a while. Once, my study table fell over and Pete stepped on a thumb tack with his right foot and a stapler with his left! And once, I almost accidentally shredded our marriage certificate. It's part of being human. I think you have the right idea though! Stay in bed and wake up tomorrow for a brand new day! Hehehe, this post made me laugh!
